Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to KitchenLink. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application and associated services (hereinafter, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

1. Description of the Service

KitchenLink is a culinary technology platform designed to help manage recipes, automate food costing, control multi-brand inventory, and track nutritional and allergen information. The Service includes real-time cloud synchronization and social features for sharing recipes.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features of KitchenLink (such as cloud sync and image uploads), you must create an account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time and for any reason, including without limitation, a breach of these Terms.

3. User-Generated Content

Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, recipes, or other material ("Content").

Ownership: You retain any and all of your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Service.
Public Recipes: If you set a recipe visibility to "Public", you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display such Content within the Service.
Legality: You are responsible for ensuring that the images and text you upload do not infringe on third-party copyrights or contain inappropriate material.

4. Data Accuracy (Critical Disclaimer)

KitchenLink provides tools to calculate costs, profit margins, nutritional values (macros), and allergen tracking.

Allergens and Nutrition: Allergen information and nutritional values are generated based on user input and general references. KitchenLink does not guarantee the medical or nutritional accuracy of this data. It is the sole responsibility of the user to verify the presence of allergens in their physical ingredients.
Financial Calculations: Food cost calculations and suggested selling prices are mathematical estimates. KitchenLink shall not be held liable for any financial losses arising from the use of the app.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of KitchenLink and its licensors. The application, its logo, icons, and source code are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall KitchenLink, nor its developers, directors, or employees, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

7. Changes and Governing Law

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
